I've read where a NP205 case from a Getrag will bolt onto the later autos (47RH/RE/48RE), but not one from a 518 - different input spline count requiring a coupler shaft or some such. 23 spline vs 29 spline. Might look into that before you get too far and discover it night of.

That's not true. The 29 spline 205 had a larger input, but other than that stuff like the bolt pattern is the same. Dodge didn't change anything unless they had to :lol:
