Nv 4500 2wd to 4 wd

Postby 92cummins89 » Wed Jul 30, 2014 9:44 pm

I destroyed my nv 4500 4wd the other day

Found a nv4500 2wd with a lot of goodies

Do I have everything I need to convert the 2wd to 4 wd?

Should have, but pretty sure you'll need the output from the old one. Hopefully someone who has been farther into it than me will come along and answer too.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

You'll need a 4wd main shaft, and rear extension housing...so if both are still useable out of your old 4wd unit, just swap them over and you're good to go!
