Np205 bearing to wide???

Postby Collers9640 » Thu Aug 07, 2014 9:00 am

I was working on my np205 rebuild and was putting on the output shaft bearing, it went on fine but when I went to put the snap ring on it would snap in. Then I discovered the inner race in about .026 thousandths to wide.
I purchased the kit from a company on ebay. The box the bearing came in was Quest made in japan. Has anyone else done a rebuilt and had this problem with these bearings?
