NP241 rear seal

Postby Tacoclaw » Sat Aug 30, 2014 5:04 pm

Alrighty, I'm swapping the NP241 from the gasser setup in place of the NP205 I'm running now. Losing a few lbs in conjunction with the lower lo-range seems like a win-win. Truck doesn't work hard enough to warrant a 205.

Problem is that the 1410 yoke from the 205 has a larger diameter than the 13xx yoke from the 241. Does anyone know a part number for the seal that fits the 241 bore and the 205 1410 yoke?

A couple hours of googling hasn't gotten me anywhere. :?

You might get ahold of Mark Nixon. He talked about this at one time IIRC. I'm interested as I might be doing the same with my gasser puller some day.

I also have written on a note in this box National Seal part # 473204 (must have purchased a national seal from Advance Auto Parts for this application as well at one point) - FYI."
