T Case Oil

Postby Farmboy » Wed Oct 22, 2014 5:05 am

So the rear seal on my transfer case is weaping a small amount of oil.. so since there is no dip stick on these things I was just going to top off the oil and make sure it was full. So my question is, what oil to put in? 90 weight gear oil? or something lighter?

The 205's have been used by all three OEM's. During its life span it has had everything from ATF to 75/90 gear oil. You can pretty much choose whatever you want.

I use 75/90 syn.
