borg warner clutch

Postby Micaiahfied » Thu Jan 11, 2007 1:29 pm

got a truck with a reciept for the clutch in it. it's a 13inch clutch from what i found, they installed it along with nv4500 tranny. part # BWD 90349. can anyone tell me more about it? and am i correct in thinking that if they swapped up to a 12 inch clutch they would have had to put in a new flywheel as well? thanks

Not sure on the part number, but it sounds like a stock Sachs clutch. Depending on the replacement, you may or may not have to get a new flywheel for the 12" clutch. I put a LuK (UGGGHHH) in a 92 a few years ago, and it used the 1st Gen flywheel.
