okay correct me if im wrong, on the 4x4 shifter it reads like this:

4x4H
2x4
n
4x4L

mines missing andi cant tell were im shifting in to

and when the hubs are unlocked and the shifter is in 2x4 will the front drive shaft still tun when your driving

Should be the oppisate way around

4x4L
N
2x4 or 2H
4x4H

Crawl under and check to see if the front shaft is in by trying to turn it, you'll know right away. I know mine turns a little bit when not engaged due to the oil making its own little fluid coupling.

Thats not a leak, its the external lubrication system.
