I bought a 1992 dodge W250 auto with a snapped output shaft. I've been looking for a used tranny to stick in it but I'm having no luck. Was there any other vehicles that came with that same tranny. I'm hoping to broaden my search a bit. I have the broken tranny. What I need is the output shaft and the governor housing. So could I take a similar tranny and steal the appropriate parts and make it work?

Yes, those gasser parts are the same as the diesel tranny.
93 w250 6 speed 4" exhaust, caution, work truck, she's no beauty. building 1 ton dually 4x4, dana 80, 48rh, 205 Scratch the one ton, bought frt. dually 4x4 98 12 valve with the tiny rear doors. rides so much better than the 93.
