1990 d350 transmission swap

I will be eliminating the 727 replacing it with the g360 also taking out the 307 rearend replacing with 354s
I've gathered all the parts necessary to do the job. Atleast I think I have . Is there anything in particular I should be watching for or any problems that could occur throughout this install.. Please share your knowledge. Thanks

Have you got a different transmission tunnel to screw or weld in? The "D" series with automatics have a smaller transmission tunnel, all manual trans and all "W" series have a larger tunnel...

Is it possible to run 307 gears. If I wasn't going to pulling anything..

Yes it is. 3:07's are a good road gear. High MPH with lower engine RPM = less noise.

I have driven long distance with 3:54's. That's why a friend of mine needed to make a long trip we took my truck. 3:54's at 70 MPH is loud.
