Yep. When I found out I couldn't shift my truck, I got the slave and MC. To get the hard pedal back, I pushed the slave back and forth several times, then went into the truck and pumped the pedal fast for 30 secs, then slow, smooth strokes for 3 mins (Like I was using the clutch). When all was said and done 20 mins later, I had my truck back!
To get the clip off the push rod, I was either reverse of how I would sit in the drivers seat (head down) OR I was laying on my back with my feet out the truck. That is the only time I like the 6" blocks in the back. I was laying level then.
BTW, do NOT do this in the gravel driveway. I lost that stupid C-clip about 6 times, each time the magnet found it. Also getting it back on was faster by taking the dash out completely. And there they are, hardly any wires in the way and took about 30 mins less. I had to take it off to re-weld the clutch bracket on to the main pedal brackets, then I notice it was NOT the 1st it had been welded
