205 transfer case yoke swap

Postby oldcool90 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 1:22 pm

Was wondering if the out put safts were the same from an auto to a 5sp transfer case? I might need to swap yokes if they are. Thanks Matt

Are we talking front or rear? Why not just get a new yoke and be done with it?

Both,i am putin in a 5sp and the transfercase on the 5sp has the bad yokes. My auto transfercase on the other hand has perfect yokes.I dont want to use a speedy sleeve,so if they wont work i will weld them up and turn them down at my shop.Just was lookin for the easy way out ;)

The driveshaft yokes will be the same. All first gens used 1410 joints to my knowledge. There is not yoke on the front output, its just a flat 4 bolt flange. I've never seen one of those wear out.....
