Torque Flight 727, 47rh would be a nice one.

The RE is a electronic trans. As far as I know there are no stand alone controllers for it. You need the 47RH model.

The 47Rh is an auto. It came out in the 94/95 model CTD trucks.

Its weak link is the stock lockup converter. Do a decent rebuild with a good converter and it will hold what ever a VE pump can throw at it. Unless you sled pull. Then get expensive on the rebuild.

There are standalone controllers for the RE, PCS makes one. Ats is standalone kit uses that controller.

I hadn't heard about the stand alone controllers. The next question is how good are they?

I've heard allot of people love them but they do take time to get dialed in. I know Dockboy on Comp has one on his Ford/Cummins truck. Here is Ats standalone system http://www.atsdiesel.com/atswebsite/ProductsDodge/ConStand.asp
and here is the PCS controller. http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/content-4.html
