Does anybody know if this style of tranny cooler works well

Looks strange. Does not look like it would dissipate much heat.

it is a passive cooler, they do work, it depends on the flow rate of the fluid
moving thru it, and the velocity of the air getting to it, the problem I see with it is I think the unit would need to to be 3 times the size to have any effect,
that unit might work as a power steering cooler, shelby
