What is the best clutch for the getrag 360? My cummins will have approx. 300hp. Ive heard bout the sachs where can i find one and will it hold up? Towing will be very light but the truck will be in a 77 chevy with 10 inch lift and 42" tires.

Check out a South Bend Con-O if your less than 350 HP. I like mine so far, just broke it in. Some guys on here like Valair clutches too. Sachs is the OEM clutch I believe.

I have the valair organic/feramic and I am very pleased with it. I have also heard good stuff about luk clutches, witch would be a direct replacement like the sachs. If you go with a south bend or a valair make sure you get a 13".

Check out the thread "Aftermarket clutch" it's got some good opinions.

We just put a 12 1/4" Valair 3800# 550HP/Ceramic kevlar hybrid in my buddies 97. His pump is nearly maxed, to the piont his wife doesn't have to watch the pyro, and they tow 14k all the time. AWESOME CLUTCH!!

I have an organic Valair in my W350. Nice clutch. I picked it up cheap, and it turned out to be good. Smooth engagement, holds 250hp or so well. It is a 13" clutch.

The stock clutch is a 13". Going to ANY 12-1/4" is a serious step backwards. You couldnt GIVE me a LuK clutch.
