ANyone done it yet? I am hoping to use it as a splitter, kinda, like you do with a 2sp rear, using OD as the short gear.

Dieselman 359 has one in his D350. But, I think he put in a second cross member mount, and eliminated the front driveshaft; ran it kinda like a divorced transfer case.

You could also get a rear housing from a 4x4, and reshim your tranny (not a bad idea anyway), ad hook the GV to the back of it that way. Otherwise, I think you'll have to do like I mentioned in the first paragraph.

Yeah, the kit seems to come with the stuff to make it take the place of the carrier bearing.

Towing 10,000+ all the time, it sure would be nice, keep my EGT down too.
