Send TXS a pm and have him stop in. He has a NV5600 in his truck.

You will need the spacer for the starter to work with the NV5600 flywheel.

Do not use the slave cylinder from the donor truck, use a second gen, 96 or so, the 1st gen master has a larger diameter or the 3rd gen slave is smaller and you over travel the pressure plate with the early master with 3rd gen slave. Also the ends on the pressure line
changed and you will need a longer line. Whether you need the starter spacer depends on whether the flywheel is the true 13" clutch or the 12 1/4". The 13" clutch has a bigger bolt pattern and the pressure plate mounting holes line up on the starter ring gear flywheel parting line when held up to the 12 1/4" wheel. They moved the ring gear to the front of the flywheel on the 13" so there would be enough meat at the back of the flywheel to tap holes for the pressure plate mounting bolts.
The shifter hole in the floorboard hump for the 5600 is 5 or 6" farther back than the getrag. You will need the starter also, bolt pattern changed between 1st and 2nd gen.

I don't think you need the starter. I used the 1st gen starter with the 6spd starter spacer when I put a 6spd flywheel in my truck.

I got my 2nd gen starter from db electric on ebay, was just over 100$ for nib. That was 5 years ago or so, don't know what the pricing is like now. If you use 2nd gen flywheel housing you need 2nd gen starter. I would recomend the second gen slave also, 3rd gen from nv5600 will fit but as in previous post you over travel the pressure plate. Not sure about the g56 slave.
