Looking for tach wires

Hi guy i was looking under my dash for a tach wire and i have heard there was a 4 wire plug. Here is some pictures. I dont think this is the tach wire but idk

please tell me what you guys think it is because im starting to get guages and my first priority is a tach. Thanks guys!

My wires are white/purple stripe and red/purple stripe. There is two of each.

yup my wires are the same. So that is the tach wires right? if so isn't there a set up i can get from isspro for a tach? Do you have a link?

That looks like the right one but, the tach plug is circled in a pic on this post. But you may have to join to see thepics.

I thought his bottom pic was it, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't answer. I know I found mine real easy when I did it.

well i was just curious bottom one is it i think. I dont know what the top pics are for. Now i just need to find a connector like that or something to wire it up

Just use small spade connectors.

Thanks i hope that is the correct wiring. When u guys are setting up guages where do u hook up power to them for lights and stuff? I think the pyrometer is electronic so im guessing that will probably need some kind of power source also. I could be wrong.

That link above is something that I put on DTR so as far as I am concerned it is correct. That came directily from the tech at isspro ( Don Wendlick ). I can't remember which tach it was for as I have 2 from them. One flat face and one convex. One style takes the resistor wire and the other does not. There is a fuse in the block that is for the dash lights and it should also dim that circuit when you dim the lights. Can't remember the number fuse.

In the fuse box I used fuse #6 power windows for the ignition and fuse #14 dash lights for the gauge lighting.
