Back-Up Light Switch Question

Postby Jfriedlin » Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:57 pm

I have an 89 W250 with the 727 auto. My backup lights have never worked and I recently moved back to Virginia where the safety inspections have really gotten tough. I can't find an OEM switch for anything but a manual transmission at NAPA or any other big auto parts store. Does anybody know anything about these switches or where I might be able to find one that functions properly. I replaced both the bulbs once just to see but that didn't fix the problem. I don't think a toggle switch in the dash is goin to work for our state inspectors and I'm not having any luck searching the internet or any diesel sites. Thanks
