Can I hotwire headlight switch on a 93 dodge

I'm going on my third switch in as many years. Can I hotwire the headlights with out messing with the brights. Another words can I still use the brights by hotwiring the headlights

Put the head lights on relays. That way you draw power from the battery thru the relay instead of the switch. Mines worked for years now without fail.

Link don't work. I have issues with my headlight dimmer too.
