Early '89 Thermistor replacement

no i have no wait to start light or nor do i hear the relay click and i have two 1st gens one is a 93 and the other is a 89 the 89 only has a air temp senor no coolant temp senor i have pulled both out the look the same but the 89 is longer and the 93 is shorter but same plug end. On that note i have tryed called the dodge dealer they cant give me any idea i have caled local parts dealers no help i wounder if cummins would now what iam talking about is that where you got yours from?

If you're confident you have late model grid heater controls, the sensor should be bad. If you have early model heaters, they won't preheat until it's 15*.

I have the early model heaters, so my '89 starts better at 14* than it does it at 34*.
