Gremlin's or not ??

Started out in instrument panel no right-turn light blinking. O.K. check out-side lights right rear blinks, right front no blink, front park light works, side-marker bulb (burnt) put new in still no burn.
So check front bulb (1157) good !!!. Sure hated to take out the plastic popping instrument panel. Got it out and guess what, ya-up good bulb. Now what grounds are good, 2 more things to check (melted, burnt, broken, etc...) wire or turn-signal switch.
F.S.M. says disconnect neg. battery post and check continuity on plug (10 pin) at bottom of steering column & dash.
For right turn #5 tan & #7 red/black turn signal flasher, was getting fluctuating readings.
So checked left turn and neutral they were steady, just to make sure the right turn bulbs in front was going to burn before pulling steering wheel off, ran a (jumper) hot wire to #5 pin and put neg. back on battery post, lights worked.
Pulled steering wheel where points touch copper plates were gummed up black from dust and dielectric grease, cleaned them all is good for awhile.
