Postby Hansen01 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 5:17 pm

Any one know what its spose to be set at? We took it off to change the front seal on dads 93 set it to .050 and now none of the gauges work like they used to, especislly the temperature gauge, when he turns the lights on the temp gauge goes up, what gives?? Lol

Supposed to be.050. Sounds more like a bad ground someplace. Check the sensor plug too, sometimes they get kinda greenish in there.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Well, I adjusted it today and it was a little tight, and I think it made a little better, but gauges still move a bit when i turn the lights on, what ground could this be or what area? Or maybe Jus mess with the sensor more?

Check them all, battery to core support, head to firewall, and under the dash, right of steering column on a metal bracket.

I don't suspect the crank sensor would cause those problems. Im with Pete, check other stuff. When the sensor goes bad they stop charging, tach ( if equipped ) stops working, a/c, and some other stuff.

Got it figured out yesterday. it ended up being the ground that goes from the battery to the core support, thanks guys! :D
