cruise and passenger side window issue

today i was driving on the highway with the cruise set at 65 and all of a sudden it just kicked off. I tried to turn it back on and it did not work. Also the drivers side window will not roll up or down with the window switch on the drivers side of the truck, but it will roll up and down with the switch on the passenger side. Any ideas as to what it could be, or anyone have any experience with these problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
