I WANA MAKE SURE MINES RIGHT I SWAP THE ENGINE OUT OF MY 93 W250 AND HA VEING SOME CHARGING ISSUES AND LIGHTS PROBLEMS SO PICS OF YOUR BATTERY OF THE STOCK CABLES AND HOW THERE SET UP FOR BE AWSOME THANKS
2008 2500 6 speed 4x4 : EFI LIVE ,South bend dual disc , 4 in to 6 in stack egr and dpf got stolen
1993 w250 5 speed 4x4 : under DEconstrution
1987 k30 4x4 crew cab dually : under construction

Here are some pics of my set up. This engine compartment wiring was on my list for this winter. Then the main wire running to the starter fell out of the factory connector. Still have to get to the rest of the rats nest.

This is my first 1st gen. Is it only supposed to have one battery? Every other cummins i have owned had two.

Yup ;) There are ways to mount two, as I have. I have two red top Optima's side by side on a modified stock battery mount. I can post a pic up later this evening.

Shoot! I totally forgot to post a picture! :oops:

The way that is pictured above is how I mounted mine, but with dual Optima's. I like them because they are a little lighter than two stock lead-acid batteries, and that they are slightly shorter too. I can still work around them if need be.

I don't remember why but i changed mine to be parallel with the truck, so you can do it either way
This time however I'm going to put one on each side
1990 dodge W250 cummins 6 speed. 4in diamond eye, a turbo,and a pump :D
