Headlights overcharging ect

So i have my headlights realayed an for about a month all i had was highs if u would flick the switch back and forth sometimes u would get lows but rarely so i lost highs now im thinking multifunction swit h on that but at the same time i just realized its overcharging whats the probability ive got a ground and multifunction switch issue thx guys
91 d250. 2wd std cab i/c convert 3.07 rears autometer guages htt stage 3 turbo 47rh convert 2 manualy controled od an lockup turns on fuel screw .5 on smoke screw and fuel pin rotated 3800gsk timing jumped 1 tooth retarded on pump settings for now resealed ip to come in spring he351ve and full 4 in ex hopefully injectors coolertubz for the other rig thanks Tim

I also realize the multifunction switch shouldent contrl the coltage issue it just started at the same time im thinking ground on that but dont know if tat makes sene at all

Change the multifunction switch first. Ive heard people talking about the crazy stuff they do when they short out.

Anyone know whats holding the facia on the colum (screw type) it looks like a allen but i cannot find the right size i know the multi switch is tamper proof torx cuz i removed it from my spare colum but my dad had already removed the facia and i cant ask him cuz cancer got him thx guys

The surrounding pieces on the column are torx as well. You need a long skinny torx like screwdriver.

Swapped the multifunction no change were to go from here? Grounds?

So you have no headlights at all? I lost my headlights due to a bad headlight switch. I would flick the brights on and after a few minutes i would loose everything. It kept getting worst until i lost them all together one night. Switch could have been going before you did relays.

After changing headlight switch and multifunctioion switch no avail the overcharging burned out the bulbs looks like its time for a new voltage reg thx for the help even tho it was a goose chase next time the multimeter comes out first
