Speedometer surges

Postby Chuck Snider » Thu Oct 25, 2007 1:32 pm

Man,
I've been trying to fix my speedo surge to no avail.. I've put in a known good distance sensor ,change my computer ,changed the speedo still surges. It works fine for a while then goes back to surging.. anyone else fixed a surging speedo?.. Maybe I'll pull the dash and reground the panel ground and see what I come up with?.. thanks for any advice..

I find alot of problems with the gear reducer adapter between the trans/t-case and the speedo sensor.

I'm on it,
I found a place that has them and they will match the ratio to what I need. I just hook up the distance sensor without the ratio adjuster and record true mph to what my speedo is reading and they'll dial me in. I'm using a GPS for true mph....
here's the place that has them if anyone might need one on the future..
