I found a flaw in the commentary on the 1st link.
This one:

The fellow asking has a 1991, which uses a totally different plug set-up from 1992-'93.
Additionally, the CPS is also totally different.

In short, there are 2 totally different tach packages for these 2 trucks, with 1990-'91 being one version and 1992-'93 being the other.
