no dash lights

Hi guys kinda new to this sight. Just wondering he anybody has had the same problem with their dash lights all of a sudden not working? They worked when I purchased the truck but not now.

Yep.....light switches usually give some issues,the plug for it melts up from loose connections with the spade terminals, also the little spring thingy that dims the lights can get hot and melt the solder of the finger that contacts it. I'd first check the fuses,fuse panel should be labeled.

Do your taillights work? IIRC the dash lights and taillights are on the same fuse.

There is also a single wire that connects to the switch, separate from the main connector. Most likely a ground. Make sure it is hooked up as well. But, if the rest of the lights work, it is most likely the switch.
