What is it?

Postby bmoeller » Wed Jun 19, 2013 5:59 pm

Not sure where to put this, since it is in my crew cab, but it is electrical. Figured may have a better shot at an ansswer here.

When I tore my dash out on the '82, I found a small red plastic box (about the size of 2 rasin boxes stacked on top of one another, and it's own bracket) attached behind and to the right of the glove box (between dash and HVAC box). Has a spot and a connector for a 9v battery to hook up. Have NO idea what the thing is. Appears to be an OEM piece. No extra weird wiring harness. One that old, no radio presets or PCM.

Any thoughts?

That's familiar to me, I used to know and can't remember what it was for. Damn CRS!
