Multi issue...charging..A/C...OD....all the sudden...

1992 350 Auto...all was OK...then went to leave one morning and the AC would not turn on(no compressor engaging, blower fan works)...then later that day it started down shifting from overdrive on a 3 hour trip...after a long frustrsting trip of downshifting erratically I noticed the lights were a bit dim...sure enough its not charging...11.xx volts while running. Alternator is less than a year old.....

Im suspecting maybe the ECM harness plug...will check that tonight...

Any thoughts?

Crank sensor took a dump on you most likely,if it doesn't function properly the computer doesn't know the engine is running and won't turn on those accessories. its been my experience that Usually the od shouldn't function at all,so you symptom there is weird :?

Check the gap and give it a little bit of a tap to see if it anything changes.
