aftermarket gauge cluster

Postby directinjktn1stgen » Tue Nov 05, 2013 4:59 pm

Ive been tossing the idea around for all isspro gauges ( replacing all factory gauges ) Wondering if anybody has done this before. Wondering if using all factory engine sensors is possible? Just an idea right now may turn into more work than im wanting to do.

Most likely not. The Isspros will need their own senders. The chances of the Isspros using the same resistance range of the factory senders is pretty slim.

What Pete said.....but the fuel sender. You'll need to make sure you buy a gauge made to read for dodge sending units.

Did you see the thread on the Explorer with the Cummins in it? He has a complete digital dash in it, looks pretty nice.

I've been wanting to do this too. Pricey but it sure would beat my cracked and bouncing dash that I'm trying to run now. Maybe a stupid question but when you purchase say a temp gauge from Isspro is it common for it to come with the sender?

All isspros come with senders. I put 6 ev2 in my 98 at $750. Very pricey for a first gen IMO.

Isspro's aren't cheap, but they are nice. I spent $600 on the four that are in my 91...

I agree I had just the usual 3 in my 04 but I never had a single issue with them unlike all the autometers my buddies had.

I will throw my two cents in here. I am buying a performax setup from isspro. It's a data logger and gauge setup. Gonna be a bit pricey but about 1/4 the price of a different data logger. This is for the pulling tractor btw not the truck. Will be doing some testing on the tach and tach logger they are developing. Everything comes with senders and this setup is computer controlled with multiplexing.
