Projector headlight install

Postby KB-Cummins » Tue Jan 28, 2014 12:25 am

For anyone who's interested, I recently installed a pair of projector headlight conversion lenses W/ halos. I picked them up online for $50.00 and with a little persuasion and wiring I made them work. I think they turned out pretty well.

The lenses I picked up have glass lenses with a plastic bucket assembly and they take standard H4 bulbs. In order to make them fit I had to open up the rear of the factory headlight bucket with a carbide bit.

These two pics show the before and after:

The halo feature required me to make a harness for each light to connect them to the OEM wiring. I tied them in to the marker light circuit and threw a Weatherpak connector in to the harness to make the lenses easy to pull out when I need to.

Nice... I don't mind making mods to make things fit but direct bolt ins are even better.
