Most likely the clock spring in the steering column. Chrysler still carries it. I want to say its $180+/-

Check the crank sensor. If the PCM can't read that, cruise, A/C and some other stuff won't work. The wire plug gets corroded by the front of the head. Clearence to the crank should be .050.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

The wires on mine failed where the steering column tilts. I took apart the column and found the bad wires, and my switches were worn. Instead of the $$$ for new parts, I wired in two toggle switches down under the dash. One for cruise on/off, and one for set. The only thing I don't have is resume. A three postition switch would get this.

I would look there before the clockspring. My horn has not worked in years. I drive a big 4x4, with a big winch bumper/grill gaurd, and dual straight pipes, I don't need no stinking horn..
