Please help. No heater going into winter in Alaska!

Postby fatcamp » Wed Sep 24, 2014 12:06 pm

Yesterday my dad tried to start my truck and there was a bit of smoke coming from under the hood for some reason and he mentioned that the warning lights won't shut off for wait to start and water in fuel. Now today my windows won't roll down and my heater doesn't work. When I turn the heater off the warning lights go out. Does anyone have an idea where I can troubleshoot besides the fuses I've already checked? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I smoked a fusible link and my blower motor quit. It was on the driver side fenderwell area. My manual windows still worked well enough tho.

The doesn't explain why my lights won't shut off I don't think. I'll go see if I can find it and maybe by a heater relay also. Thanks
