Electric speedometers

Postby KTA » Mon Oct 13, 2014 6:00 am

When I pulled the wiring harness off my 89 parts truck to my surprise it had an electric speedometer drive on the 727. The truck does not have the instrument cluster but I have a good one from a 92. Does anybody know if the 92 cluster will work OK with the 89 VSS and harness?

I'm using a 92 dash plugged into the sender for my 89 RC. It had a mechanical and electrical output on it, I just plugged my wire in and it's working fine.
