"Actually, all 1991s have the voltage regulator on the firewall, as well.
The only 1st gen era DIESEL trucks to have a CEL are 1992 and 1993."

So i may not even have a check engine light on this truck??

For some reason I thought you had a 93. That is why I checked my 93 FSM. So being a 91.5 you will definitely have a different wiring system.

Mark has been dealing withthese trucks for a long time....I would defer to his knowledge on this.
