CPS reading

Alternator still not charging replaced all the relays
An now just ordered a new Crank position sensor
an I know tht the gap between the CPS is .050 question is
With the truck running what should the CPS b reading right from the sensor
If this makes sense

You will need an Oscope to read the tach signal. It is to fast for a multi meter to read.

Next question when said supposed to have a gap of .050 on the high point is there a certain point on the balancer I need to find or as long as it's not. Over the gap?

Just so its not over the gap or notch. Whichever you want to call it.
