I find it very unlikely you got 3 bad PCMs. Pretty sure the only port is for the ABS module, what are you trying to do?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

To my knowledge that code reader port on the drivers inner fender was only for the OEM computer system at the factory or dealership. If you want any codes from the ECM pretty sure you have to do the ignition on/off thing and then count the CIL flashes.

Grid heaters not coming on no charging on alternator has new crank sensor when key is turned on no wait to start light comes on and tachometer is inop.

Do you have a FSM (factory service manual)? Sounds like it's time to check wires, from the crank sensor and power / grounds to the PCM.

Have you swapped in new relays on the drivers inner fender? If the ASD relay is not working then you won't get any charging. Could be a bad info center....mine recently stopped working so I hit the dash with the flat of my hand a few times and smacked the info center with a big hairy knuckle....started working again. ;)

Grid heaters could be a bad AIT (Air intake temp sensor), you can try grounding out the negative pin on the solenoids and seeing if they will turn on. Then you know it's a sensor and wiring issue.

There are several wiring connections between the CPS and the ECM...you could have a bad connection at one of these points. If the CPS signal is not getting to the ECM then you will not have charging since it does not know that the motor is running, and no tach signal.

Wow! That's weird you got 3 bad PCMs! Glad you got it up and running. 8)
