Dash Lights Are Not Very Bright...

Postby peobryant » Thu Jan 10, 2008 5:24 pm

The green colored lights that are supposed to illuminate the dash are not very bright at all, so when I drive at night my dash is basically useless. Is there any fix to this or are they just like that? It doesn't really affect anything at all but it would be nice to be able to see how fast I'm goin at night.
Thanks.

If you like green you can change your bulbs out to 194 bulbs. When you do this take the green filters out and clean them. Or if you would like white tick marks and a little brighter dash, leave the filters out. for the brightest dash you can replace all of the bulbs with led bulbs in the color of your choice(be sure to remove your filters) here is a site to get them. https://www.superbrightleds.com/led_prods.htm One tip don't put one in your high beam indicator!

P.S. You might need to get the twist in bulb holders from a 80's style dash with removeable bulbs, not sure all were like mine or not but bulbs were made right in to the holders. Was mine factory or previous owner replacement? Please chime in.
