Intermitant wipers no longer intermittent?

Postby gear jammer 91" » Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:55 pm

I went to turn my wipers on today and found out that my intermittent now only has two speeds, fast and faster? :? Is their a box or relay of some sort that controls the wipers?, or is it all in the end of the turn signal? I know I should quit being cheap and just go buy a chilton or haynes cause it would probably tell me but this site is so much better than any book. ;)

There's a module under the dash that Dodge will be happy to sell you.

And don't waste your money on a Chilton or a Haynes. Buy the factory manual. Geno's garage, $99, or e-bay.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I was informed that the intermittent control is in the noisy buzzer under the dash, so I unplugged it to see if it did anything. Now my wipers are intermittent again and there is no more annoying buzzer. 8) I don't understand why and I don't even care so long as my wipers wok right.

I think the horn is the only thing I didn't check. If it's broke I still got the finger :)
