Intermitant wipers no longer intermittent?

I went to turn my wipers on today and found out that my intermittent now only has two speeds, fast and faster? Is their a box or relay of some sort that controls the wipers?, or is it all in the end of the turn signal? I know I should quit being cheap and just go buy a chilton or haynes cause it would probably tell me but this site is so much better than any book.

There's a module under the dash that Dodge will be happy to sell you.

I was informed that the intermittent control is in the noisy buzzer under the dash, so I unplugged it to see if it did anything. Now my wipers are intermittent again and there is no more annoying buzzer. I don't understand why and I don't even care so long as my wipers wok right.
