Black Lights

besides being an oxie morron, ive seen a chevy running around town, and you as a other driver cant see the lights but when your driving the vehile you see the light, the army suposetly uses them, thats all i know, has anybody heard of them
any info would be great

They are called Black Out Lights My Jeep has them. Main purpose is a low level output set up as to be seen from in front or behind (convoy) but not to be seen from air.

can we get them for our trucks or are the illigal for the road

I don't know of any being put on the later trucks (last use on Dodge was late 70's M880's) you could probably use any standard military lamp if you made a mount on the early trucks they were behind the grill. I seriously doubt there legal for road use any ware.
