Postby doublel89 » Tue Jul 22, 2008 11:00 pm

on ebay lately i've seen some chrome dodge style cab lights, they have an amber lens though. i really like the look of the smoked cab lights like the recon brand, but want the torpedo dodge style light that would have came stock on my 91, anybody have any leads or ideas?

I don't have pictures but my brother took some black paint and misted it on the lenses on the cab marker lights on his truck to get that effect. It looks ok and you can still see light through them at night. It is kinda half ass though.
Sold 91 now-intercooled W250, 388WHP 923WTQ on #2 only 423WHP 968WTQ on meth 0% correction.

you could use a product such as this. alot of the neon and srt4 guys use it with good results. you might want to clear coat over it though, as it gives your light a flat appearance. im sure it would look better than the black paint idea. might wanna hurry though, one vendor i was looking at said as of 7/25 the manufacturer shut down.

Yea that is some good stuff. Its like 10 bucks at auto zone. I've used it on my camaro and c10.
Dodge makes it, Cummins shakes it.
