tail light wiring help me plz

well i figured out the wiring changed alot durin 89 thru 93 i really need help figuring out the tail light i have a 89 with a 93 motor and wiring harness no connections for the tail lights!!! :x
1993 d250,single cab short bed, sbc, 175hp p-pumped,4kgsk,370's, fass 150. hx35
1997 2500 4x4 , 913,191's,3kgsk,5x16, 3rd gen dubs.

I'm lost. How does the engine wiring harness relate to the engine?

I'll concede that there were some changes between 89 & 93, but I didnt think anything that drastic.

You sure you have a good headlight switch? That'd be a more likely culprit in my opinion.

The rear harness is seperate from the motor harness. I took my 93 apart and the rear light harness comes through the firewall next to the clutch master. It plugs in under the dash. It also has gas gauge, abs sensor, abs controller in it.
