For the quick reader: What resistance is the fuel gauge?
If I decide to replace the speedometer, do I just need a mechanical one and the right adaptor or what?
Well my cluster is taking a dive. My temp gauge has always been a lier, the voltmeter started twitching, the fuel gauge has a mind of its own, and my oil pressure likes to sit on the very bottom line....Im really hoping cuz of that last one that its the cluster dying.
So, Im gonna start gathering the pieces to do what Ive long wanted to do, and will take a while due to cost. Im gonna replace atleast the 4 outer ones with some Isspro gauges. Im debating leaving my center factory Speedometer/odometer, and building a bezel to surround it and house my 2" aux gauges. Basically it will be the speedo in the center, and a custom metal housing for 4 gauges on the left and 4 on the right.
