Relay mounting solutions

Postby Begle1 » Fri Oct 03, 2008 1:09 pm

I could find a use for probably 20 or so automotive relays in my truck.

Does anybody know of a mounting solution to install a bunch of relays? You'd definitely think that they'd be out there for the custom-car or industrial-crowd, at least; like a fuse block, only a relay block.

Screw terminals would be best. I could steal one out of a junkyard, but then I'd get to have fun tracing all the relay pins to all the random wires coming out the back of it. And it'd be a bulky funny shaped thing with a bunch of fuses in it too.

I would use DIN rail, but it seems impossible to find 12 volt relays for a DIN rail, that don't cost a small fortune and/ or are too small to do anything meaningful.

Anybody got any leads for me?
