Alternator Cut-Out Relay

Postby Begle1 » Tue Nov 11, 2008 3:55 pm

I could cut the rotor wire from the voltage regulator to make sure that the alternator wasn't stealing any power down the track or on the dyno, right?

What wire off the voltage regulator would be the wire that I would want to cut?

Anybody know? Anybody know?

Now I have an 1800 PSI water injection system that draws 160 amps, so I have all the more incentive to kill the alternator while going down the track.
