Dash excessories

Postby Farmboy » Mon Jan 12, 2009 6:27 am

This weekend I lost all power to my dash excessories. I lost power to the radio, cargo light, ect. however I still have all my dash lights, including the lights on the factory radio. The only thing I messed with is the bulb in the dome light. I took the burnt one out and tried a different one that didn't fit in the hole.

As I am sitting here typing I am thinking to myself, you idiot, you never checked the fuses!!!! on that note where is fuse box on our trucks? Is it on the drivers side of the dash like some other vehicles?

Well thanks for the help and sorry for the possible confusion. :x

its right abouve the pedals. there is a cover on the bottom of the dash, right under the steering column, that you will remove. it has 4 screw. the fuse box is supposed to clip to this cover, but yours is probably hanging by the wires.

I had a penny that was in my ash tray bounce into my cigarette lighter hole and pop the fuse that runs all that stuff. It doesn't take much to pop them, I would bet that's what happened.
