No speedometer, then, no odometer...Or vice versa

In any case, neither are now working. I seem to remember seeing a post where someone said that the problem was likely in the instrument cluster, and not at the tranny? Something about a couple of little gears that can be replaced easily?

I am interested in getting this fixed. Can one of you chime-in?

Thanks in advance!

If the speedo doesn't work, then it is more than likely the VSS. However if you get the speedo working, but the odo still doesn't work, then the gears in the odo are probably worn out.
