The head unit and handheld are usually mounted in the cab somewhere, and the antenna(s) are usually mounted outside. ;)

I'm sure some guys have pictures...

i have my cb mounted to the ceiling. just make sure you sdont use screws that will go thru both layers of the roof!

i have a smaller, non-johnny bigrigger antenna on the mirror. but i have it mounted to factory tow mirrors. i wouldnt mount them to the smaller sport type mirrors, as the extra stress will make bad stuff happen. the door was cracked on my 91 where the mirror mounts, and i had no antenna on it.

Check out this link.

All I did for the antenna was use half a tube mount and drill into my toolbox and mounted it on there. Kinda hard to see in those pics. By the way don't try to hold it down when you go through a drive thru, it will strip the threads on the mount lol. That's why you only see the antenna in some of the pics. I just had to fix it today.

That's 'cause you got the big white stiffy! I have a Firestick and it's about 20 years old. I can still bend it around in a complete circle. I was amazed at how flexible it is, that's why I bought one. (quiet Jeff!) I have it mounted on the top of my headache rack, it just bumps along under the drive thrus. ;)

The only pic I can find is when it was on the dyno. No antenna, but the mount is there to see. The loop in the cable is visible between the stacks on the top bar.

I'm trying to figure that out right now myself! :x My ashtray is out so I keep thinking on edge in the hole. I don't want it hanging over head.
When I have the buckets in I just slide it between the drivers seat and the console. Currently I have the bench in. (damn state laws about kids in car seats! )

hope it helps. i had to make the bracket with some scrap from work but you can probably take the bracket that came with the cb and modify it to work.
