1990 Dash wiring, gasser vs. diesel.

Postby Mark Nixon » Thu Oct 01, 2009 10:02 am

I'm needing to know if the gasser wiring is a direct fit for the diesel dash.
I have TWO dash wiring harnesses here and both have been hacked, spliced or otherwise butchered.

I have access to a '90 gasser one that is in a vehicle with tilt and cruise control and it's basically perfect, but I hate like hell to pull all that out and find surprises to swapping it over.

I'm doing a piece-by-piece re-fit on the carhauler and this is the biggest stopping point so far.
I can't get the dash mounted in until the dash wiring is right.

Mark.

My guess would be no. I suspect there is a difference in them. All the wait to start, water in fuel, ect would be different due to gasser not having them.
